6.8. Meta-extensions

[BUFFERS]
     Combination of BUFTYPE_BIF, DESBUF_BIF, DROPBUF_BIF and
     MAKEBUF_BIF.

[FILEIO]
     Introduces some commonly used extra features for handling
     files.  This is a combination of OPEN_BIF() and CLOSE_BIF(),
     which allow the programmer to explicitly open and close
     files.
